Bains de Mer's Casino de Monte-Carlo Coming to Two Cruise Ships Crystal Symphony

Bains de Mer's Casino de Monte-Carlo is coming to two cruise ships — Crystal Symphony during the Chairmen’s Cruise departing from Venice in November, and on Crystal Serenity this December.

Crystal partnered with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer to provide slot machines, blackjack, roulette, and more to customers

Crystal, which operates both ships, has partnered with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer to offer slot machines, blackjack, and roulette to customers.

“We are delighted to welcome Casino de Monte-Carlo into the Crystal family as our newest collaborator,” said Manfredi Lefebvre, Executive Chairman of A&K Travel Group on the new arrangement.

“This affiliation symbolizes our commitment to offering our guests the finest entertainment and gaming experiences available at sea. Together, we aim to create unforgettable moments and continue to set new standards of excellence in the cruise industry,” Lefebvre added.

The plan to reintroduce casino gaming to the company's voyages began after a number of requests from guests. A survey determined that less than 5% of the guests said they would not sail with Crystal if the casino was removed.

However, the survey appeared to have underrepresented gamblers.

Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group, acquired Crystal last year. She said the group has “listened attentively” to guests who wanted casinos back onboard.

Casino gaming on the ships will debut on Crystal Symphony on Nov. 14 and on Crystal Serenity this December

According to Latte Luxury News, since Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony‘s relaunch last year, the space of the former casino has been used as new lounges, used to host events including art shows.

Casino gaming on Crystal’s ships will debut onboard Crystal Symphony during the Chairmen's Cruise departing from Venice, Italy, on Nov. 14, and on Crystal Serenity this December.

The casino will also be featured on the two future oceangoing vessels and in all the new vessels of Crystal, excluding the Expedition vessels, the company said.

“We are confident the reintroduction of casinos will further enhance the overall cruise experience, providing our guests with the entertainment options they crave while sailing with us,” Levis added.

The Casino de Monte-Carlo will replace the Bridge Lounge on both ships. The Bridge Lounge will move to the Library on Crystal Serenity and The Lounge – the location of the previous casino – on Crystal Symphony.

Stephane Valeri, chairman of the board and CEO of Monte-Carlo SBM, said: “We are excited to join forces with Crystal to deliver the unique Casino de Monte-Carlo experience at sea. With our combined expertise, we are confident that we will provide a gaming moment unlike any other in the cruise industry.”
