Bally's Launches ‘Bally Play' Free-to-Play Social Casino Platform

This week, the Bally’s Corporation launched its free-to-play social casino platform, Bally Play. This app was created and developed with the help of Ruby Seven Studios. The interactive social gaming company is located in India but has headquarters in Reno, Nevada. Bally Play offers an array of digital slot machines, table games, keno, video poker, and bingo. Along with iOS and Android apps, Bally Play can be accessed on the web via BallyPlay.com. 

With Bally Play’s launch this week, they debuted over 1000 interactive slot titles, and 50 versions of poker, blackjack, and roulette games. Ruby Seven Studios' social casino has games from top developers in the industry like GT, Everi, Aruze, and Konami. Bally’s chief product officer Sina Miri had this to say.

“As part of our growth strategy, we have been seeking to complement our brick-and-mortar and interactive gaming offerings with a social casino,” - said Sina Miri

Why did Bally choose to make this social casino app and work with Ruby Seven Studios?

The Bally’s Corporation is based in Rhode Island. Currently, they own/and operate 16 brick-and-mortar casinos in nine states. Additionally, the company has an online gaming unit called Bally Interactive. They have licenses for real-money gambling in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Recently, Bally’s was dealt a series of credit downgrades by analysts at Moody’s Investors Service and S&P Global Ratings. Concerns were raised that Bally’s could be overleveraged. 

Their company has struggled to obtain the $800 million needed to build its $1.1 billion integrated casino resort in downtown Chicago. On top of that, Bally’s is looking into building casinos in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and New York. Sina Miri explained how launching Bally Play will help attract new customers.

Bally Play is a free social casino experience for all users. When a bettor first signs up, they are given an allotment of 50,000 coins.
