The PGA Tour season may be over, but we still have professional golf to watch (well, stream) this weekend. It's officially LIV Golf‘s time to shine, as 48 players will head to The International Golf Club for the fourth event of the rival tour's inaugural season.
With the deepest and most talented field we've seen from the LIV Golf Invitational Series to date, let's check out the betting odds for this weekend's tournament and see who is the favorite to win.
Cameron Smith is the betting favorite to win LIV Golf Boston
Cameron Smith has only been an official member of LIV Golf for one day, but he's already been pegged as the betting favorite at +550 ($100 nets $550) to win his first start.
The Australian joined Joaquin Niemann, Marc Leishman, Harold Varner III, Cameron Tringale, and Anirban Lahiri as the newest group to migrate from the PGA Tour to LIV. All six players will be making their debuts with the Saudi-backed golf league in Boston this weekend.
Smith is coming off a career year on the PGA Tour. The 29-year-old won three times in the 2021-22 season, including victories at the Players Championship and the Open Championship. Thanks to the best season of his career, Smith jumped all the way to the No. 2 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking.
He'll join LIV Golf as the highest-ranked player on the tour, and it wouldn't shock anyone if he won his first start.
