Netflix has released the first trailer and revealed the premiere date for Reciever, a new docuseries arriving this summer.

Netflix Releases Trailer and Release Date For Receiver

Receiver will stream on Netflix on July 10.

Receiver is an eight-episode docuseries that takes fans behind the scenes of the NFL's top pass-catchers throughout their 2023 season.

Receiver is the second all-access NFL football docuseries from Netflix. Last year, Quarterback debuted on the streamer and followed Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota.

The series stems from NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions, the creative team behind Quarterback

“We were thrilled last summer to see audiences all over the world diving into the lives of NFL quarterbacks,” NFL Films supervising producer Joe Zucco told Netflix. “We believe the extraordinary skills, dedication, and passion of the NFL’s great wide receivers — and one tight end — will make a perfect follow-up.”

Players Participating In Receiver

The lineup of pass-catchers assembled for Receiver is absolutely stacked.

The players featured on Receiver include:

Player Team
Davante Adams Las Vegas Raiders
Justin Jefferson Las Vegas Raiders
George Kittle San Francisco 49ers
Deebo Samuel San Francisco 49ers
Amon-Ra St. Brown Detroit Lions

The official synopsis from Netflix: “It’s been said that there’s no more difficult position in the NFL than the quarterback. But throwing the pass is only half the story. Receiver follows five of the NFL’s best pass catchers throughout the 2023 season on and off the field.”
