Richard Childress, who earned 76 top-10 finishes during his 12-year career in the NASCAR Cup Series before a 2017 induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, founded Richard Childress Racing in 1969. It has since become one of the most successful racing teams in the industry and currently competes in the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Throughout its history, Richard Childress Racing has earned 16 championships and over 200 victories across the top three NASCAR series, featuring notable drivers such as Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt, Mike Skinner, and plenty more.
With two teams in the Cup Series, Richard Childress Racing has two full-time drivers: Austin Dillon in the No. 3 Chevrolet and Tyler Reddick in the No. 8 Chevrolet.
