William Byron
A professional driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, William Byron began his career on the iRacing simulator during his teenage years. He began racing Legends at 15 years old before signing with JR Motorsports' late model program in 2014.
Eventually, Byron progressed to the Camping World Truck Series in Kyle Busch Motorsports’ No. 9 Toyota during the 2016 season, and he signed a multi-year agreement with Hendrick Motorsports to compete in the Xfinity Series in 2017. He made his Cup Series debut at the 2018 Daytona 500 and won for the first time at NASCAR's highest level at the 2020 Coke Zero Sugar 400.
A frequent finisher in the top 10, Byron has earned four wins in the Cup Series to go with his four Xfinity Series and eight Truck Series victories. He also won Rookie of the Year on all three series over a three-year stretch from 2016-18.
Byron currently drives the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series and the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports in the Truck Series.
