LeBron James' place in basketball history, however, is a pretty safe bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/lebron-james-had-a-more-depressing-childhood-than-you-think\/\">his difficult childhood,<\/a> James found a home on the basketball court. He quickly blossomed into a star; <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/when-did-lebron-james-start-playing-basketball\/\">even in high school,<\/a> his games became appointment viewing on ESPN. After going first-overall in the 2003 NBA draft, though, LeBron's star only continued to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While there were <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/iman-shumpert-believes-he-knows-why-people-hate-lebron-james\/\">some bumps in the road<\/a>\u2014making a spectacle of leaving Ohio during <em>The Decision <\/em>immediately comes to mind\u2014James has lived up to the hype. After 17 years in the NBA, he's still going strong; he's won three titles, four league MVP awards, and just about everything else available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Off the court, James has also developed into a powerhouse. Due to his talent and comparative affability\u2014whether it's accurate or not, LeBron doesn't seem to have the same cold ruthlessness as Kobe Bryant or <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/michael-jordan-once-kicked-pat-riley-out-of-his-hawaii-hotel-room-in-an-epic-power-move\/\">Michael Jordan<\/a>\u2014he's become a business in his own right; the Lakers star has <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/lebron-james-invested-in-a-no-name-pizza-joint-and-now-hes-35m-richer\/\">plenty of investments,<\/a> some massive endorsement deals, and <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/lebron-james-hits-nothing-but-net-with-his-latest-idea\/\">his own charitable foundation.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bronny James seems like a natural heir to the throne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bronny James leads Sierra Canyon to win in front of LeBron | Prep Highlights\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Sbo88CDLgTM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>LeBron isn't the only member of the family who's shining on the hardwood, though. <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/growing-up-bronny-the-circus-basketball-life-of-the-son-of-lebron-james\/\">His teenage son, Bronny,<\/a> seems to have plenty of talent in his own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Bronny is still playing at Sierra Canyon High School, he already has basketball fans and scouts <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/bronny-james-has-nba-fans-more-excited-than-ever\/\">excited about the future.<\/a> \u201cI first saw him last summer and was struck by his poise and ability to navigate all the craziness around him,\u201d\u00a0Eric Bossi of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/ftw\/2019\/05\/14\/what-recruiting-experts-are-saying-about-bronny-james-basketball-talent\/39480585\/\"> Rivals.com<\/a> explained in 2019. \u201cThat poise is still there, and Bronny has now grown to 6-foot-2, has a great frame, is a budding athlete, and has the game to play at the point or shooting guard position.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James' own teammates have noticed the same thing; for all of the teenager's physical tools, he's already well versed at dealing with pressure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019d be surprised by all the stuff Bronny has to go through,\u201d Ziaire Williams, a five-star recruit on the Sierra Canyon squad, explained, according to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nba\/2020\/01\/20\/lebron-james-bronny-fan-disrespectful-sierra-canyon\/4528190002\/\">USA Today<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s not fair, but\u00a0he doesn\u2019t let it faze him at all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bronny isn't LeBron James' only basketball-playing son<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Yes he is!! While he might not have the same name recognition, Bryce Maximus is also waiting in the wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Bryce won't turn 13 until June 2020, knowledge of his game is still a bit limited. He does play AAU ball, however, and is apparently a pretty good shooter, if we can believe his father. In December 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/espn\/status\/1203528214158512128?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1203552999592906752%7Ctwgr%5E&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsports7.us%2Fis-bronny-james-already-a-better-shooter-than-lebron%2F\">ESPN's Paul Biancardi<\/a> said that Bronny's jumper was better than LeBron's; King James responded on social media, saying that Bryce &#8220;got a cooker too&#8221; and was already better shooter than his old man. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given their respective ages, there's no guarantee that Bronny or Bryce James will become NBA stars like their father.
