No, <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/where-is-tiger-woods-ranked-going-into-the-pga-tours-return\/\">Tiger Woods <\/a>will not be in the field at Colonial. When the PGA Tour shut down following the first round of The Players Championship, McIlroy was playing some of the best golf of his career, which is certainly saying something given his track record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his last 11 tournaments, beginning with his victory at the Tour Championship last year, McIlroy had finished outside the top 10 just once and outside the top five only twice. He'll be joined by the other four players in the top five of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.owgr.com\/\">Official World Golf Ranking<\/a>, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/justin-thomas-and-rickie-fowler-squared-off-left-handed-and-it-was-hilariously-amazing\/\">Justin Thomas<\/a>, and his partner at Seminole, Dustin Johnson. This will be the first time since the OGWR was established in 1986 that the top five in the world will tee it up at Colonial, which only goes to show how excited these players are to get back to work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the top five, 16 of the top 20 players in the world will be in action.
