There seems to be a clear consensus that Chet Holmgren out of Gonzaga, Jabari Smith out of Auburn, and Paolo Banchero out of Duke should be the first three names off the board Thursday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in what order?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, according to a tweet from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski earlier today, we may already know the answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-top-three-picks-in-the-2022-nba-draft-are-increasingly-firm\">The top three picks in the 2022 NBA Draft are &#8220;increasingly firm&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As team boards finalize today, the 1-2-3 of the NBA Draft is increasingly firm, per sources: Jabari Smith to Orlando, Chet Holmgren to Oklahoma City and Paolo Banchero to Houston.<\/p>&mdash; Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wojespn\/status\/1539951821405429761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 23, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For the last few months, we've heard mock drafters and media pundits argue over who is the top prospect in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/why-milwaukee-bucks-miami-heat-forced-forfeit-picks-2022-nba-draft\/\">2022 NBA Draft<\/a>. Holmgren is unanimously thought to have the highest upside with his unique combination of size, skill, and athleticism. Smith might be the most NBA-ready, and his comparisons to Kevin Durant haven't hurt his stock one bit. And Banchero is probably the most polished offensive player of the bunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There's not much agreement about who the Magic should select with the No. 1 overall pick Thursday night, but Orlando may have already made its mind up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a tweet this morning from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, &#8220;the 1-2-3 of the NBA Draft is increasingly firm.&#8221; Smith seems to be destined to go No. 1 overall, Holmgren will follow to the Thunder at No. 2, and Banchero will end up with the Rockets at No. 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, these teams could always change their minds in the few hours leading up to the draft, but the top three seem to be set in stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jabari-smith-is-the-betting-favorite-to-go-no-1-overall-to-the-magic\">Jabari Smith is the betting favorite to go No. 1 overall to the Magic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1250\" height=\"833\" src=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Jabari-Smith.jpg?w=925&#038;strip=all&#038;quality=89\" alt=\"Jabari Smith reacts during a game.\" class=\"wp-image-1516541\" \/><figcaption>Jabari Smith of the Auburn Tigers reacts after missing a shot against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks during the first round of the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament | Kevin C. Cox\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Smith has been the betting favorite to go No. 1 for most of the last few weeks, but his odds soared after Woj's tweet this morning. The Auburn forward saw his odds <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jaredleesmith\/status\/1540057889943031810\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shoot from around even to -10000<\/a>. That didn't last very long, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Smith's odds to go No. 1 now sit at around -260, with Banchero right behind him at around +195. Holmgren, who could very well end up as the best player from this class, has fallen all the way down to +1600 to be selected first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot can change between now and 8 p.m. ET, but it would be a surprise at this point if the first three names off the board aren't Smith, Holmgren, and Banchero, in that order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sports7\/\">Sports7<\/a>\u00a0on Facebook.
