That was certainly the case <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/klay-thompson-blasts-classy-celtics-fans-for-f-bombs-while-draymond-green-berates-reporter-swears-in-front-of-his-own-kid\/\">for Boston Celtics fans during the 2022 NBA Finals<\/a>. They constantly berated and yelled inappropriate chants at the four-time All-Star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But league <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/boston-celtics-adam-silver-has-a-different-take-on-fans-than-klay-thompson\/\">commissioner Adam Silver didn\u2019t seem to mind it<\/a>, so Green now has a request for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The champ wants to cuss right back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-draymond-green-wants-to-talk-smack-to-fans\">Draymond Green wants to talk smack to fans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Draymond Green - From Underdog to 4x NBA Champion | The Daily Show\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2OfbX8POjck?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Celtics fans had plenty of colorful things to say to Draymond Green and the Warriors during the 2022 NBA Finals. Adam Silver even received a question about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want fans to enjoy themselves; of course, as the league office, you want to see it done with respect for all of the participants, but I get it,\u201d Silver said to WCVB reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/petereliopoulos\/status\/1535009708171485189\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Peter Eliopoulos<\/a>. \u201cI love the energy that the Boston fans bring to the game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If Silver loves the energy, what\u2019s wrong with players matching it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI used to feel like fans should be stopped from saying some of the things that they say,\u201d Green said on the June 27 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?app=desktop&amp;v=2OfbX8POjck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">episode<\/a> of <em>The Daily Show With Trevor Noah<\/em>. \u201cThen, commissioner Silver comes out and says, \u2018Hey man, those Boston fans are great,\u2019 as they\u2019re saying, \u2018F*** you, Draymond.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green, whose <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/golden-state-warriors-players-admit-they-had-celebration-fun-at-the-expense-of-boston-celtics-fans\/\">Warriors have since had fun at the expense of Boston fans<\/a> after winning the Finals, added that he believes Silver is the best commissioner of any sports league and one of the top CEOs in America. But considering Silver's quote about Celtics fans, Green now has a question for the commish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1250\" height=\"851\" src=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Draymond-Green-and-Adam-Silver.jpg?w=925&#038;strip=all&#038;quality=89\" alt=\"Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and NBA commissioner Adam Silver.\" class=\"wp-image-1517307\" \/><figcaption>(L-R) Draymond Green and Adam Silver | Thearon W. Can I turn and yell \u201cf*** them?&#8221;\u2019 Because if I can, then no problem, let them yell what they wanna yell; I yell what I wanna yell, and I continue down the court,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Draymond is one of the most frequently fined players in the league. The four-time champion believes fans are aware that he may receive a monetary punishment if they say something that can get a response out of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat I'll say to commish is, \u2018No problem. That was fun; let them do their thing,\u2019\u201d Green said. \u201c\u2018But let me do my thing, and don\u2019t hit my pocketbook.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you think Adam Silver will buy it? Probably not, but Green has a point.
