The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders combined to score just two touchdowns and 19 points last Thursday, and the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts weren't able to find the end zone once a week before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let's hope we finally get some points this week when the <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/tag\/new-orleans-saints\/\">New Orleans Saints<\/a> pay the <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/tag\/arizona-cardinals\/\">Arizona Cardinals<\/a> a visit on Thursday night. So, let's throw down a few first touchdown scorer bets for Thursday Night Football and pray for some offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deandre-hopkins-700\">DeAndre Hopkins +700<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1250\" height=\"833\" src=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DeAndre-Hopkins.jpg?w=925&#038;strip=all&#038;quality=89\" alt=\"DeAndre Hopkins smiles before a game against the Rams.\" class=\"wp-image-1534347\"\/><figcaption>DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals warms up before a game against the Los Angeles Rams | Cooper Neill\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Guess who's baaaack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DeAndre Hopkins is set to make his season debut this week after a suspension cost him the first six games of the year. I don't think the Cardinals will waste any time getting the five-time Pro Bowler involved in the passing game, and he could easily take over as the focal point of this offense right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marquise Brown, who's been Kyler Murray's favorite target this season, will be out for this game and the foreseeable future due to a foot injury. Murray should look for Hopkins early and often with Brown out of the lineup, so I'll take a stab at +700 (<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsbook.fanduel.com\/football\/nfl\/new-orleans-saints-@-arizona-cardinals-31822219\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FanDuel<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-zach-ertz-1200\">Zach Ertz +1200<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Arizona Cardinals acquired Zach Ertz a year ago today. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PwjeW6XLoj\">pic.twitter.com\/PwjeW6XLoj<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Johnny Venerable (@JohnnyVenerable) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JohnnyVenerable\/status\/1581346615163375616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 15, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event that Hopkins gets off to a slow start, Zach Ertz should pick up the slack in Arizona's passing offense. The veteran tight end has received the second-most targets (51) behind Brown through six games, while no one else on the team has seen more than 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ertz already has two of the Cardinals' six receiving touchdowns this season.
