Most golf fans assumed we wouldn't see Woods compete on the <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/tag\/pga\/\">PGA<\/a> Tour again until the Masters in April, but he'll be returning much earlier than expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday morning, Woods announced on Twitter that he will be making his season debut at next month's Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, setting the stage for a heavy dose of Tiger in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tiger-woods-reveals-his-next-pga-tour-start\">Tiger Woods reveals his next PGA Tour start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am excited to announce that I will be in the field for this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/HeroWorldChallenge?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#HeroWorldChallenge<\/a>. It's a bit surprising to hear Woods will be making his PGA Tour season debut so soon, but if he was going to play in a non-major this year, it was always going to be this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiger is the host of the Hero World Challenge, and it's a tournament he won't feel pressure to go out and win. <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/rory-mcilroy-hints-tiger-woods-return-pga-tour-earlier-expected\/\">Rory McIlroy recently predicted Woods' return<\/a> might come on Dec. 1, and it appears he had some inside info on the matter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woods missed the cut in his last PGA Tour start at the Open Championship in July. Before that, he made the weekend at the PGA Championship but withdrew after a Saturday 79 knocked him to the bottom of the leaderboard. Well, we might see Tiger three times in the month of December alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woods will make his PGA Tour season debut at the Hero World Challenge on Dec. 1. He'll then head down to Florida on Dec. 10 for the next edition of &#8220;The Match,&#8221; which will also feature McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth. The following week, Woods will have the opportunity to play with his son, Charlie, in the PNC Championship for the second straight year. The duo finished in second place behind John Daly and his son, John Daly II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>December is shaping up to be the month of Tiger, and that deserves a roar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Have thoughts on this topic?
