This isn't exactly the start to the 2023 NBA Playoffs<\/a> the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> had in mind. The No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and the betting favorites to win the title sputtered out of the gates with a 130-117 loss to the Miami Heat on their home court, but that wasn't the worst of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MVP finalist Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a>, who led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA this season, went down hard in the first quarter and suffered a lower back injury that knocked him out of Game 1. The seven-time All-Star will have two full days to rest the injury before Game 2 on Wednesday, but will he be able to return to the lineup by then?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
