Only a victory at Nashville Superspeedway would have counted as a NASCAR<\/a> milestone event for Denny Hamlin<\/a>. It would have been his 50th<\/sup> in the Cup Series, which is obviously one of those big round numbers worthy of attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamlin didn\u2019t win on Sunday, but he made the 631st<\/sup> Cup Series start of his career, tying the driver of the No. 11 Toyota for 30th<\/sup> all-time with Dale Earnhardt Jr.<\/a>, who called the race for NBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
