Other states include Idaho, South Carolina, and Wyoming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Morris and Chukwuebuka, who are both 23 years old, were booked into jail and released Friday after posting $2,500 bonds. The two were arraigned in court Friday and are due to return on May 23.<\/p>\n<p>The Chiefs said they are aware of the arrests, but the organization had no further comment.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intersectionObserverRefElement\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Chiefs<\/a> OTs Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested on Thursday and charged with marijuana possession. He started four games at left tackle as a rookie in place of the injured\u00a0Donovan Smith. The Chiefs have said Morris would compete for the starting left tackle spot this season with rookie\u00a0Kingsley Suamataia, a second-round draft pick.<\/p>\n<p>Godrick also joined the Chiefs last season as their designated international pathway player. He spent the entire <a href=\"https:\/\/sports7.us\/nfl\/\">NFL<\/a> season on the practice squad.<\/p>\n<h2>Wide receiver Rashee Rice was arrested in Dallas in March for his involvement in a six-car crash<\/h2>\n<p>Both players won a ring last season when Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime of Super Bowl LVIII. The 2023 Chiefs became the first NFL team since the 2004 New England Patriots to win back-to-back championships.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, another Chiefs player made headlines in recent months for breaking the law. Wide receiver Rashee Rice was arrested in Dallas in March for his involvement in a six-car crash that injured at least seven people.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police report, Rice was driving 119 mph on North Central Expressway before causing the crash. Rice is facing one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury.<\/p>\n<p>Rice is also a suspect in an alleged assault that injured a man in a Dallas nightclub. Police were dispatched at 2:30 am on May 6 after an assault was reported. A man was found to have non-life-threatening injuries, including swelling on one side of his face.<\/p>\n<p>Putting aside legal trouble, Rice serves as a decent wideout option for the Chiefs. The 6-foot-1 receiver was selected 55th overall in the second round of last year's draft.<\/p>\n<p>During Kansas City's Super Bowl run, Rice set the NFL record for most playoff receptions (26) by a rookie.
