The New England Patriots signed third-round offensive tackle Caedan Wallace to his four-year rookie contract, the team announced Friday.<\/p>\n
Wallace, 24, was offered an NFL<\/a> contract worth $6.03 million, according to\u00a0Spotrac. He will also receive a signing bonus of $1.2 million.<\/p>\n Wallace was selected 68th overall by New England in the in the third round of this year's draft out of Penn State. He is the sixth of eight draft picks to sign with the Patriots, leaving only second-rounder Ja\u2019Lynn Polk and fourth-rounder Layden Robinson unsigned.<\/p>\n The Patriots are hoping that Wallace will earn the starting left tackle job after playing almost exclusively at right tackle at Penn State. Current right tackle Mike Onwenwu will stay on that side.
