The Atlanta Falcons claimed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber off waivers on Tuesday, in efforts to add depth to their pass protection unit. The New England Patriots waived the 6-foot-6, 318-pound guard on Monday.<\/p>\n
Stueber, who turns 25 on July 1, was selected 245th overall by New England in the seventh round of the 2022 draft out of Michigan.<\/p>\n
He missed his rookie season with a torn hamstring and spent last season on the practice squad.<\/p>\n
The Connecticut native has yet to make his NFL<\/a> debut.<\/p>\n As a graduate student with the Wolverines\u00a0in\u00a02021, he helped lead the offensive line with the fewest sacks allowed (10) and third-fewest tackles for loss (27) nationally.<\/p>\n OL Andrew Stueber, who was recently waived by the Patriots, has been informed he has been claimed by the #Falcons<\/a>, per @MikeReiss<\/a>. Stueber spent the last two seasons with New England and was a seventh-round draft pick out of Michigan in 2022.<\/p>\n\n
