The Chicago Bears signed veteran wide receiver\/return specialist DeAndre Carter to a one-year contract on Tuesday, the team announced. Carter, 31, appeared in four games with the Bears in 2020. He went undrafted in 2015 out of Sacramento State.<\/p>\n

The 5-foot-8, 190-pound wideout has played 94 games (21 starts) in six seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles (2018), Houston Texans (2018-20), Bears (2020), Washington Commanders (2021), Los Angeles Chargers (2022), and Las Vegas Raiders (2023).<\/p>\n

Carter has caught 108 passes for 1,259 yards and six touchdowns, averaged 22.4 yards with one touchdown on 118 kickoff returns and averaged 9.8 yards on 132 punt returns. His 1,294 punt return yards are the second most in the NFL<\/a> over the past six seasons.<\/p>\n
